Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions and procedures for using the meeting time coordination and AI seating services provided by the Service, the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Service and users, and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "Service" means all meeting time coordination and AI seating services provided by MeetTimeSync.
• "User" means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
• "Meeting" means a unit of meeting time coordination created by a user through the Service.
• "Host" means a user who created a meeting.
• "Participant" means a user who is invited to a meeting and votes on times, or who enters attendance details for a seating arrangement.
• "Seating arrangement" means a unit of attendee seat assignments a user creates through the Service.

Article 3 (Consent to, Effect of, and Amendment of the Terms)

• A user must expressly agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, including transfers of personal information to businesses in the United States, when creating an account or at first sign-in. The same applies to participants who sign in through a link. The Service cannot be used without that agreement.
• These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to users.
• When necessary, the Service may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate applicable laws.
• When the Terms are amended, the Service will specify the amended content and effective date and announce them within the Service.

Article 4 (Provision of the Service)

The Service provides the following features:

• Creating and managing meetings
• Inviting participants (link, QR code)
• Voting on available times
• Setting preferred time rankings
• AI-based optimal time recommendations
• Sending email notifications (limited to users who consented to receive them)
• Confirming the meeting time
• AI seating (collecting attendee profiles, reading tables from a venue photo, and proposing seat assignments)

Article 4-2 (Email Notifications and Affiliate Advertising)

• The Service may send notifications necessary for using the service — such as meeting confirmations, voting/preference reminders, and AI recommendations — by email.
• Notification emails may include affiliate marketing content (Coupang Partners, Zoom, etc.), and separate consent to receive them is obtained at first login (sign-up).
• Users can withdraw their consent at any time on the notification settings page.

Article 4-3 (Notice on the AI Recommendation Feature)

• The Service provides an optimal meeting time recommendation feature using third-party generative artificial intelligence (OpenAI).
• AI recommendation results are reference information automatically generated by an algorithm and may contain errors.
• Users should use AI recommendation results as reference material; the final confirmation of a meeting time is made at the user's own judgment and responsibility.
• AI seating results are also a reference and may contain errors. The host confirms the final seats at the host's own judgment and responsibility.

Article 5 (Obligations of Users)

Users must not engage in the following acts:

• Stealing another person's personal information
• Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
• Using the Service to violate laws or public order and morals
• Using the Service to harm others
• Threatening the security of the Service or exploiting its vulnerabilities

Article 6 (Suspension of the Service)

• The Service may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service for unavoidable reasons such as system maintenance, equipment replacement, or natural disasters.
• If the Service is suspended for the above reasons, the Service will notify users in advance whenever possible.

Article 7 (Paid Service and Payment)

• The Service offers a free (Free) plan and a paid (Pro) plan.
• The paid plan is offered on a monthly or annual recurring payment basis.
• Payment for the paid plan is processed through Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record) and automatically renews using the payment method registered by the user.
• Users may cancel their subscription at any time and, upon cancellation, may continue to use Pro features until the end of the current billing period.

Article 8 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)

• Pursuant to Article 17 of the Korean "Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.," users may withdraw their subscription and receive a full refund within 7 days from the date of payment.
• After 7 days have passed from the date of payment, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for the unused remaining period. The refund amount is calculated as follows: Refund amount = Payment amount × (Remaining days / Total subscription period days)
• Upon completion of the refund, the account immediately switches to the Free plan, and Pro features can no longer be used.
• The refund amount is returned to the payment method within 3–5 business days.
• Refund requests can be submitted through the subscription management page within the Service or via customer inquiry (bodalbuddyaiai@gmail.com).

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

• In connection with the use of the Service, the Service bears liability in accordance with relevant laws including the Commercial Act of the Republic of Korea, and does not exclude or unduly limit, through these Terms, any liability that the Service must bear under law.
• However, the Service does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of information posted or entered by users (such as available times, display names, adjustment request details, and seating profiles), and bears liability for damages arising from a user's reliance on AI recommendation or seating results under Article 4-3 only to the extent the Service's liability is recognized under law.
• With respect to disputes arising through the Service between users or between a user and a third party, the Service has no obligation to intervene except where obligated under applicable law.
• The Service is exempt from liability for the provision of the Service to the extent it cannot be provided due to force majeure such as natural disasters.

Article 10 (Copyright)

• The copyright of content provided by the Service belongs to the Service.
• The copyright of meeting information created by a user through the Service belongs to that user.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction)

• The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to disputes arising between the Service and users.
• Where a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising between the Service and a user, the competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction under the laws of the Republic of Korea (including the court having jurisdiction over the consumer's address).
