Terms of Service

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between MeetTimeSync (hereinafter the "Service") and users in connection with the use of the Service.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions and procedures for using the meeting time coordination service provided by the Service, the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Service and users, and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service" means all services related to meeting time coordination provided by MeetTimeSync.
  • "User" means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  • "Meeting" means a unit of meeting time coordination created by a user through the Service.
  • "Host" means a user who created a meeting.
  • "Participant" means a user who is invited to a meeting and participates in time voting.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

  • These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to users.
  • The Service may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate applicable laws when necessary.
  • When the Terms are amended, the Service will specify the amended content and effective date and announce them within the Service.

Article 4 (Provision of the Service)

The Service provides the following features:

  • Creating and managing meetings
  • Inviting participants (link, QR code)
  • Voting on available times
  • Setting preferred time rankings
  • AI-based optimal time recommendations
  • Sending email notifications (limited to users who consented to receive them)
  • Confirming the meeting time

Article 4-2 (Email Notifications and Affiliate Advertising)

  • The Service may send notifications necessary for using the service — such as meeting confirmations, voting/preference reminders, and AI recommendations — by email.
  • Notification emails may include affiliate marketing content (Coupang Partners, Zoom, etc.), and separate consent to receive them is obtained at first login (sign-up).
  • Users can withdraw their consent at any time on the notification settings page.

Article 5 (Obligations of Users)

Users must not engage in the following acts:

  • Stealing another person's personal information
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Using the Service to violate laws or public order and morals
  • Using the Service to harm others
  • Threatening the security of the Service or exploiting its vulnerabilities

Article 6 (Suspension of the Service)

  • The Service may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service for unavoidable reasons such as system maintenance, equipment replacement, or natural disasters.
  • If the Service is suspended for the above reasons, the Service will notify users in advance whenever possible.

Article 7 (Paid Service and Payment)

  • The Service offers a free (Free) plan and a paid (Pro) plan.
  • The paid plan is offered on a monthly or annual recurring payment basis.
  • Payment for the paid plan is processed through Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record) and automatically renews using the payment method registered by the user.
  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time and, upon cancellation, may continue to use Pro features until the end of the current billing period.

Article 8 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)

  • Pursuant to Article 17 of the Korean "Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.," users may withdraw their subscription and receive a full refund within 7 days from the date of payment.
  • After 7 days have passed from the date of payment, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for the unused remaining period. The refund amount is calculated as follows: Refund amount = Payment amount × (Remaining days / Total subscription period days)
  • Upon completion of the refund, the account immediately switches to the Free plan, and Pro features can no longer be used.
  • The refund amount is returned to the payment method within 3–5 business days.
  • Refund requests can be submitted through the subscription management page within the Service or via customer inquiry (bodalbuddyaiai@gmail.com).

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

  • The Service is not liable for damages arising in connection with the use of the Service, unless caused by the Service's intent or gross negligence.
  • The Service is not liable for any profits a user expected to gain through the Service but failed to obtain or lost.
  • The Service has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising through the Service between users, or between a user and a third party, and is not liable to compensate for damages resulting therefrom.

Article 10 (Copyright)

  • The copyright of content provided by the Service belongs to the Service.
  • The copyright of meeting information created by a user through the Service belongs to that user.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

  • The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to disputes arising between the Service and users.
  • Any lawsuit regarding a dispute arising between the Service and users shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Service's head office.
